"Clean and cheap"

"We thought the hotel was great. Staff was super friendly. Food was great in the restaurant. There weren’t many complaints, except that the rooms could use a little more updating in terms of electronic outlets. Also, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom."

"The Point Au Roche Lodge was everything that it promised and more. The rooms were beautiful and it was very appreciated that it was dog-friendly. It was very dog-friendly, with borders between outside porches for privacy and a specific potty area clearly identified. The price for the off-season was incredibly reasonable. One of the beds in our room was broken, but I doubt the property had been made aware of it, as it had been scrabbled back together to look like it was fine, until we laid on it and it's leg collapsed along a broken joint. While our room was great, there was a family that stayed there who were loud and in the kitchen all hours of the day and night and a door in our room led straight down to the common area kitchen, so we heard them all night. Again, not the property's fault and we could have just as easily gone into the kitchen to say something respectfully to the family. All in all, I was very impressed with the accomodations, the property and its vicinity to the Point Au Roche State Park. Will definitely stay here again in the off-season."

"We would like to come back next year. The house worked perfectly for us. WE loved the area, the Maple Festival, all the restaurants we tried and everyone was so incredibly friendly. We would like to make this weekend an annual event. We did not want to leave....."

"My wife, I, and our teenage son had a wonderful experience staying here. Spectacular location. Extremely picturesque. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Super clean. Kitchen and plumbing were modern and well equipped. As great as the property was, the owners were even better. Super kind, welcoming, and friendly. They made our trip truly special. Great communication with property management as well. We are looking forward to being repeat visitors to Cedar Point very soon."

"We stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. It was a perfect location. Plan to bring bottled water for drinking/cooking/etc during your stay, but otherwise, there is everything you need for a relaxing weekend away!"

"The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."
