Cathedral st Giles. In the heart of everything. This apartment has everything you need for a sightseeing stay. Can be noisy at night with crowds but if you choose to stay here you should expect it. There was a delay in getting the key from reception of local hostel as code had not been sent/received and receptionist seemed wholly unable to help. Joivy / host responded to email quite quickly but not a great start. Rest of stay was a pleasure and great location, etc.

As for comfort and boarding accommodation, I will give credit where it is due. With that being said, I think the hotel is a little out of the way for non-drivers.
