"Bolaang" is taken from the word "Balangon" which means the sea, and "Mongondow" is taken from the word "Momondow" which means cry of victory. it's situated in a valley surrounded by mountains, one of them is an active complex volcano. There are few beautiful resorts that will provide you with nice accommodation, such as BlackSands Retreat, Dabirahe @ Lembeh Hills and Kungkungan Bay resort. These resorts will help you to explore the beautiful underwater world of Lembeh Strait. Getting here is very easy as it's connected by road from the capital of North Sulawesi, Manado.
