“The place was very nice and clean, but my room was very very tiny. It would be a okay room for one person but you would not want to put two people in their. Still it was a very friendly place and Shauna who I think is the owner was very helpful. Expedia screwed up my brothers reservation and I had to find him a place at another hotel and Shauna was a big help in accommodating our needs there. I would stay at the canoe on in again if I were by myself. Although I will say Shauna told me that they……

“Place looks pretty rough from the outside, but the room was clean and felt fresh and inviting inside. View of the lake is minimal - it's pretty far away and across the highway, but still nice. The girl who checked me in was cute, friendly and helpful. There are NO amenities, lol. ”

“There are stains and burn marks on towels and bedding. Im sure it was all washed it's just probably from the 90s. The mattress was the worst I've ever slept on. There was a loose cable hanging out of the wall with the mount and all right by bed, tripped over it at night and twisted my ankle. Thankfully ok next day but this really is a big hazard. This was the only room available within an hour or I would have left. The staff seemed very nice and check in was simple atleast.”

“Very nicely decorated space with a cabin feel. Very clean & kitchen stocked with all we needed for cooking. With it being winter the gas fireplace was warm, comfy, & romantic for our get away.”

“Tub literally had cracks and holes, felt as if I was going to fall through the floor, connecting 2nd room door had an obvious “fist” hole covered up with white duct tape and then the toilet flooded (with only urine thankfully) and called emergency number and front desk 4 times with no answer and told housekeeping and still no one came! Sheets were clean, but floors and showers were very dirty”
