“A room smelled like cigarette smoke and the neighbor next door was smoking, so it came in through the vents and a very musty smell in the room. When you first got in the room each time. I mentioned this to the owner.”

“This was a noisy frenetic resort. It has not been very well kept up. The hut with the kayaks and other watercraft was a mess. There were not enough life preserves for those who use the watercraft. The Pickleball court is a joke and the net cannot be raised high enough for adults to be used. we stayed in one of the rooms above the office. “this place is pretty worn out. might’ve been the cats meow in the 60s. sheets were stained and dirty. poop splatter or puke on the front of toilet and wall. floors dirty. cheap for a one night stay. wouldn’t maybe stay much longer.”

“Coffee was good. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, even by Continental breakfast standards. Breakfast was served between 6 & 9am. We came down at 8am, and there was one ziplock package of bread for toast, no muffins or Danish. There was corn flakes and Froot Loops, but really no other options. There was no one at the desk to ask for more bread for toast. Needless to say, we went to Kwik Trip down the road and got a couple of Cinnamon rolls for today's breakfast.
