First off, the owner, manager, don't know which, tried to tell me that my reservation was for Thursday Sept.3rd and Friday Sept.4. My reservation was confirmed by Expedia for the 4th and 5th of Sept. . I offered to show her my receipt but she ignored me. My brother & I had booked these 2 nights to stay for a family funeral. First night went okay, but we were told that they were remodeling the rooms. Room was dirty, also no glasses, soap or shampoo, no washcloths. Only one outlet was accessible. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Upon returning from funeral, my code for the door did not work. Went to office, told manager, she reitered bs about my reservation. I told her no, that I would show her my receipt, ignored, again. She said she could call who she had room reserved for that night. I received working code. Room had not been cleaned or restocked with towels. We went over to relatives until around 10pm. Code worked on return. About 11:30pm as I was reading in bed, someone tried to use a code to get into Room. I said Room was occupied. They continued to try code. They went & got manager, tried their code again. We believe manager/ owner was running a scam for hookups. I feel we should be refunded at least some of our payment. Received no apology. I have never had trouble with a reservation with Expedia before. This was a very dissatisfying stay. Acorns all over the parking area, very unsafe walking. Please contact me, I would like to file a claim.
