You pay for what you get, pretty inexpensive place BUT if youre planning to satay longer than a weekend, this is not the place, there was a dead bug when i arrived in my room, the sliding door to the balcony didn't work, the water on the shower was yellow, the bed was too hard imo, ac didnt work, tried to call the staff to address the ac but they didn't pick up, elevator buttons dont work. Its an ok place to stay for a weekend if you plan on exploring instead of saying at the hotel but definitely not a place to stay and rest.

The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. The hotel is kept meticulously clean. Constantly mopping/cleaning by staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has beautiful grounds - flowers and trees. The food at the a la carte restaurants was very good. The buffet was ok. It could use an upgrade. The weather was perfect and the beach nice, but we will never return to Mazatlan again. At least not to this hotel area. The CONSTANT banging coming from bands from 12:00 - 8:00 every day ruined our vacation. When I say bands I'm talking about I counted at least 50 people playing instruments and singing, all at the same time, on our short beach with microphones and boom boxes so the whole resort could hear. There was no peace. You couldn't sit and hear the ocean. No enjoyment. Then after the bands were done, Joe's Oyster would play music until 4:00 a.m.! Just sad to have everything in one hotel and be ruined by non-stop, LOUD music. If the bands didn't have microphones and boom boxes blaring, and played just for the people in front of them and not the whole resort until 8:00 at night, it would make things so much better.

We were only here for a week, but from the time we arrived to check out, we had an amazing stay. The staff and amenities are top notch. The beach is amazing with lots of vendors if you wish to buy from them. There's always fairly large surf waves coming in from the pacific, so use your discretion if you want to try swimming. The five pools and two swim up bars are great for spending afternoons meeting people from all over. The convenient hamburger, hotdog and taco stands by the pools is really handy. The food and entertainment was top notch as well. The numerous restaurants and nightly entertainment kept us happy and satisfied the whole time. A big shout out to Sergio and Roman at La Tres Islas for their awesome service and smiles the whole time we were there. We enjoyed amazing daily sunrises and sunsets as well.

The property has lots to offer. We had an ocean view room and enjoyed sunsets every night. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and enjoyed the buffet and made to order omelets. Close to lots of restaurants and shops
