Hotel Uman is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Finland. Nice quiet rooms with all the amenities. Lower level garage is very convenient and safe. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free! The staff is superior---very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Uman is the place to stay in Umeå.

Location seems fine, close to the river. Difficult to get access to it as the directions took us to the back.
No parking area.

Lite krångligt med spa, behövde betala och få grejer i receptionen för att sen ta sig upp till spat men fick inga tofflor eftersom de var slut och badrocken var lagom till mig som är 160 cm lång men för alla längre ..."
