The best thing about the stay has to be the food- It was excellent. The room we stayed in (not one of the newer ones) was really small and was fine for one night, it woukd have been too small for any longer. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside in the beer garden, but it would have been a pain if this was full of restaurant guests - an outside room patio or garden would be ideal. Lovely room, service and food and can’t fault anything! Dinner menu is good value so you get a lot for the voucher. Staff were friendly. Decor in room and restaurant were tasteful and clean and modern but retaining classical style. However, it was small with a sloping roof. Perhaps we should have looked more carefully at the photos and description. Great food Excellent rooms which where very comfortable. Very clean room, but no wardrobe, just a row of hooks on the wall. Also, could not check in until 6.00pm.
