Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep it cool on one of the hottest days of the year, so we left it on permanently during our stay to keep the room acceptable. The window only opens a bit (for safety & security I reckon) & so was only useful for natural light - which created an unforeseen problem in that the curtains were not blackout & therefore the room was light at 4am. Toiletries provided in the bathroom is a nice touch we’ve become accustomed in other hotel brands. A fixed head shower was a bit dated where the rest of the room looked as if it had undergone an upgrade. USB sockets near the bed was a bonus. Bed comfortable with extra pillows provided. We were trading at a local event & have stayed here before, so in comparison with before, the rooms have improved but the bar management needs work.

Much better than we expected. Very comfortable and functional room and bathroom. Plenty of space too and loads of parking. The separate pub//restaurant was a fantastic facility and a great base to explore then many things to do around Nottingham. Thanks for a great stay
