Nice hotel at the edge of Hayward.

The location is clean and manicured. It's one half a mile from downtown. Note the room is labeled as 'Non Smoking', but there was a scent of cigarettes.

Good place to get a bit of kip

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Have stayed here every July for an annual business trip, easy access from San Mateo Bridge, quiet (even the rooms near Mission Blvd) and cordially helpful staff. Last year the exterior was redone and the owners said the interiors are next, however the existing interior decor is just fine, clean, up to date television, facilities and beds. I can only say that anything new will be an added plus to the already great experience staying here. Recommended to anyone not willing to pay the inflated Hampton Inn prices for a bed and running water!

Won't be going back.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Has a great view of a run-down car lot called "Fast and Loud Motors" across the street.
If you like uncomfortable beds, smelly and musty carpet, and tiny bathroom facilities, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, spend some extra and stay at a Hampton. Tried to save a few bucks and ended up at one of the crappiest motels I have ever stayed at.

never again..

Posted May 26, 2015
Maid was still cleaning it when we arrived. It was loud with traffic from cars out side. Then at 5am all the Asian people woke up to catch the bus to go gamble! Bus stop is out front. They were very rude and ate all the food! I even saw one filling up her purse with fruit to take with them.

OK Hotel good for a night!

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff!
Cons: Please provide full size pillows and better, newer mattresses.
Extremely disappointed with their pillows and mattress! They have the worst mini-pillows ever! very uncomfortable! didn't get a good nights sleep due to the mattress sinking in and awful pillows! To much noise while trying to sleep. People fighting, and yelling outside our room. Will not stay there again.

Terrible Staff and Very Loud

Posted Apr 29, 2015
The lady at the front desk who checked us in was extremely rude and was not helpful at all. Truck loads of Chinese tourist who were extremely loud at 4:00am in the morning talking outside. Avoid this place at all cost.

Don't be fooled by exterior's aesthetics!

Had to change rooms because the first assigned had a crack in the center of door, allowing light and wind through, apparent of forced entry and low-quality repair work. 1.5 in gap at bottom of door, allowing air and light entry--Room 202. Moving to 204, no gaps or cracks, but the room smelled of wet carpet and mildew. Other guests partied, no authority or security present to lower noise. Gave specific instructions to the front desk about my wife's arrival and departure, they were not followed. When my wife return her key, they assumed I checked out and allowed maid service to enter my room without me there. And, a dehumidifier/purifier was plugged in... guess that mildew wasn't in my head... as the clerk tried to make it seem.

Nice hotel in a decent area

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: There is a nice little downtown area close that was nice to walk in the evening.
Location: Downtown near by
This hotel was OK. It seems to attract lots of noise from the street if you are bothered by that. The staff was nice except they won't go beyond their job. I went for breakfast earlier than it opened and the person working the front desk never got up to let us know. They sat behind the desk ignoring us for a couple of minutes, then decided to stand up and yell through the door to let us know to come back in a little bit.
