New Listing Golden Sands 1606 - the unit has been Completely Renovated. Everything is new!

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, MD, offers everything a vacationer might want without leaving the building. You will have the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, exercise room, game room, and much more!

During the summer season, you can visit the beach bar and grill, the sandwich shop, a convenience store, a bakery, an ice cream shop, and a gift shop - all within the building.

Enjoy the beach sunrise with coffee on your balcony. This condo has awesome beach and ocean views from the 16th floor through the wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling window, and from the balcony overlooking the beach. A magnificent bay view is seen from the bedroom.

Tons of amenities: indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, gym, solarium, game room, summer-time Tiki bar, beach volleyball, private beach, pickle ball, shuffleboard, HUGE common patio, and a variety of shops. The building also has a lounge deck, kiddie pool, tennis court, beach volleyball court, arcade, snack shop, deli, and ice cream shop.

Happy Hour with live entertainment is offered several nights a week in season at the Tiki bar on the pool deck. In the evening, enjoy everything Ocean City has to offer with many restaurants and shops nearby, OC's famous boardwalk, and bus service at the front of the building.

- Golden Sands charges a $75.00 amenity fee at check-in. This will provide you with a parking pass and an amenity pass.
- One assigned parking spot is included in this fee.
- A $1500.00 limited damage waiver insurance policy must be purchased at a cost of $59.00.
- Smoking in the unit and vaping inside, on the balcony, and in all non-designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Our first time vacation to the beach
My daughter had never been to the ocean before. This BNB was amazing, location was great and the oceanfront view was breathtaking! Easy beach access too! I couldn't have found a better place to stay for taking my daughter to the beach, I can't wait to go back. It was a trip for us to remember forever!

Beautiful little condo on the beach
Had the perfect getaway with our 10 year old. Just enough space for 2 adults and one child. Rooftop pool with dry sitting area was ideal to do a little work while there. Weighted blanket was also a nice bonus. Had a little issue with the fire alarm going off around 10 pm and again in the morning asking us to evacuate using the stairs... yikes! Fortunately front desk answered and told us there were some system issues making them go off. No need to make evacuate. Phew! I would definitely return. <3 OC!

Nice ocean view.
The apartment has a good view of the ocean and beach, modern kitchen/LR and comfortable king bed. The problem I have is with the extra costs. The cleaning fee was exorbitant for cleaning a small 1BR that you are asked to clean before check out. A substantial "amenities" fee (for no amenities) tacked on after being confirmed with a "no refund" clause. There are no linens at the property. You must contact a linen service for delivery and bagged pick up. We arrived late and ended up using our sleeping bag. For a 2 night stay, we paid well over double the rental fee. This is STR at it's worst. Run by a management company with no personal involvement at all. I am a 5 star host and know what it takes to get those reviews.

Overall, it was a great experience at this property. The unit is absolutely beautiful. This unit is decorated incredibly. Well maintained and full of amentities. The unit has everything you can possible need and is stocked with all the items to make your stay enjoyable. Full washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen, Keurig and toaster and lots of pots and pans. Great view! The property has lots of amentities. Your own parking space, carts to get your items to and from the unit, tennis courts, two pools, a tiki bar and live entertainment on some nights. We will definitely stay here again.

Elevator situation was unacceptable. One of the four elevators was not working-we waited thirty minutes for one. There was no toilet paper at all in the bathroom-not ok after a long drive. The condo was dirty:carpet needed vacuuming,floors were covered in sand,windows were grimy and unclean. Even the luggage carts were filthy. Air conditioning was extremely loud constantly waking us up during the night as it cycled on and off. General condition of entire complex was run down and not well maintained-for example tile in indoor pool coming off in corners.

The condo was clean, modern and we had everything we needed. However, the elevators were unreliable and at least 2 were out of service for the entire period which created long lines and frustration. Using the stairs was not an option since the unit is on the 16th floor. Overall, the unit is great, location is awesome and fits the description.

Condo is nice and recently renovated it appears. HVAC system is a little noisy but other than that meets expectations as listed. As for the Gilden Sands Property it is nice with a tiki bar, bakery and ice cream shop. The biggest issue is the elevators. They are the worst. Extremely slow and very hot. There were lines out the lobby waiting to get an elevator at times.

The check-in process was simple and the condo was perfect for our stay. A great view of the beach and bay! They do not provide linens (bed sheets, pillowcases, towels [bath and kitchen]) so you will have to bring your own or order ahead of time through a company. There is a Keurig and coffee pot, but they do not provide filters or coffee. There are also no basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, or pepper. There were the very basic kitchen utensils, but no tongs. Overall a great stay with great views and location, but needed to bring more supplies than anticipated.

Great property that needs few additions to make it a perfect OC getaway. Pros: Great location, easy access to the beach, ocean views from the living room, renovated property Things to consider: 1. Provide bed sheets and towel 2. Kitchen has pots and pans, providing salt, pepper and cooking oil is not too costly but improves the experience multi fold 3. Wait times for lift can be long (upto 30 min or more) during peak seasons

Unit is very nice. Clean. We didn’t stay 7 days so we brought our own bedding and towels. Inconvenient! Also no hair dryer or iron. That might be stayed in the listing but I missed that! Otherwise great place beautiful view.

Loved unit 1606 in the Sands !!!
The price was perfect for us to be able to get away this year with our daughters! ! The king bed very comfy & they said the pull out mattress was as well! The owner Jonathan was a joy to talk with, when we had slight problem with the AC all worked out l! We all had one of the best weeks together ever!!! Thanks Jonathan let us know if you ever rent 2 or 3 bd units ;) We would go back for sure!! Loved the unit & the cleanliness!!!!!!

My brother and I (30’s) took our parents here to celebrate our Father’s birthday - we had a wonderful time at the condo - due to various factors. Let’s just say, it checked all the boxes! It is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable in all aspects. It was my first time renting a condo, in the high rise building dynamic. The condo was recently renovated - we never wanted to leave. All the important information and specifics were laid out perfectly for our convenience. The staff was great as well. Plenty of room for a group of 4!

Enjoyed the upgrades!
Everything about the condo was spot to the pictures. As we began liking around the tastefully decorated condo we found many upgraded features that were unexpected like a touch less faucet, filter drinking water, disable lights, very high quality multi shower head, etc. We used both the bed and sleeper sofa due to my snoring and both slept as good as at home. The view is magnificent and the entire stay felt like an upgrade. Just a few steps from the expansive beach. This is a good part of town so we felt totally safe plus great condo security as well. The worst part was getting to the 16th floor with only half of the elevators working but that is not the renters fault. Was worth every penny.
