Okere Falls Scenic Reserve Tours

Property was reasonably priced, clean and tidy, fast check in fast check out. Cleaning staff walked in without knocking, A/C not working.

The staff, room and grounds were wonderful. The staff was kind, welcoming and communicated with us before arrival. We ate dinner and breakfast on property. Dinner was good, not great. Breakfast has continental and made to order options. Breakfast is a better value. The room was clean and spacious. Only downside is the room doors aren't thick. It's easy to hear voices and luggage as other guests on your floor pass by. Resort itself is incredibly quiet and tranquil. Location is about 10-15 minutes outside of Rotorua which is ideal. We wanted to stay away from the city. The property is unique with its art, birds, animals and bamboo. Bamboo forest makes for some good pictures. It's an older house with updated rooms. The atmosphere is like a bed & breakfast environment. Service staff were all super pleasant and aimed to please. We felt very welcome and would stay here again.

The place we rented was a 2 bedroom home. The unit was very clean and nice. The resort is on the lake and on a large piece of property. Beautiful scenery and sunsets. Restaurant on property was good. All the staff was friendly and helpful.
