“Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. “Die Betten sind für mich leider zu weich, das bin ich anders gewöhnt. Eigenartig, dass man die Fenster nicht mal auf Kipp stellen konnte, somit konnte ich mein Zimmer nicht lüften. Es gibt jedoch eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Sollte ich ein zweites Mal in der Gegend sein, würde ich mir ein anderes Hotel lieber buchen.”
