Enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Cape Kiwanda, and Haystack Rock while you relax in this unique and beautiful oceanfront home. This property is set in the beachfront gated community of Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City. This home has 4-bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. The primary bedroom, guest bedroom, and two full bathrooms are located on the first floor and offer a quiet place to rest in this beautiful, open concept home. The upstairs features a reading nook, a kids room with a full bathroom, two bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. The reading nook is the perfect place to drink your coffee in the morning or to enjoy consistent views of Haystack Rock any time of day. Also upstairs is another guest room with a queen bed with its own private bathroom. This is the perfect place for a refreshing beach getaway with incredible ocean views. The house offers modern conveniences, such as free Wi-Fi, an outdoor grill, flat screens and DVD players in each bedroom, as well as a washing and drying machine. The primary bedroom features a king bed with clean, fresh white bedding and a lovely view. A small desk offers room to work and allows guests to enjoy the flat screen TV and DVD. The master bathroom offers dual sinks and a walk-in shower. The guest room is beautifully furnished with a queen bed and offers its own flat screen TV and DVD player. Next to the guest room, the guest bathrooms features beautiful tile work and a shower tub combo. Both bedrooms have noisemakers and alarm clocks. The kids room has two sets of bunk beds along with a sleeper sofa featuring a queen bed. There is also a TV and DVD player and a X-Box with 5 remotes. This spacious, open-concept layout of the main living area and kitchen allows for an ideal setting to cook together and entertain while enjoying ocean views. Guests can walk right out onto the dune from the main living area to enjoy whale watching, a walk down the beach, or a swim in the ocean. This portion of the house features beautiful wood beams and walls, a kitchen space with a full-sized fridge, stove/oven, and dining area. The living area offers comfortable seating on a new leather couch and two side chairs as well as a flat screen TV and DVD player. The outdoor grill is a few steps outside. A bonus feature is the ping pong table in the garage to add to the fun, family-friendly environment. PARKING: General street parking in the area can be utilized for free. The beach house is in a gated community (which allows for a large amount of space for parking outside the house). There is plenty of fun to be found in the surf and sand (surfing, Dory Boat fishing, hang gliding, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, bicycling, swimming, whale watching, golfing and many more family-friendly activities are nearby). We are only a 15-minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub, a variety of nearby restaurants, and a local grocery store. Also we are only a short drive to Sand Lake. Bring your ATV out and spend the day riding around on the ocean front! The neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a gated community which provides privacy and easy beach access for guests. No cars are allowed on the beach in front of the community - a nice plus! Other things to note: No pets are allowed on the property. If we find that this was not followed we will utilize your security deposit in full for cleaning. Please note that we have a family member that is severely allergic to animals. For their safety we ask that you respect the "no dogs allowed" policy. We have cameras out side the home to be able to watch the perimeters while we are away. One in the front of the house and one in the back. My family stayed here for a week. The home was amazing with beautiful views. House was stocked with everyday items (soap, towels) and had every kitchen tool/appliance you could need if you love cooking.Only disappointment was the 4ft berm of sand that covered the back patio, obstructed views and precluded my elderly parents from enjoying the backyard. The sand berm is not included in pictures or description of property. The owners have given a lot of thought to make sure different guest will have what they want. The ability to exit right on the beach and get to the ocean was very easy. The kids could play in the sand right out the door where the parents could keep an eye on them. The house was very clean and the Kitchen had what ever one would need. The view is stunning and the way the house is set up with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for our 2 families with multiple kids. The walk to watch the dory boats and check out the tide pools, Pelican brewery is about mile walk on the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. We loved our time here and would definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your home with us! The kitchen amenities, comfy bedrooms, kids room, sand toys and a killer view. My only disappointment was the gas grill. It was buried in sand and not ready for use. After spending a half hour cleaning it I decided to bag it and broil my rib-eye steaks. Had I known I would have made a different dinner plan. Otherwise great place! Walk out the door a couple of feet and your in the sand in front of the Huge rock. Spectacular sunsets, being steps to the ocean, having well-stocked kitchen/bathrooms, and plenty of space were some of the highlights of this trip! We had large enough spaces to hold everyone, and multiple smaller spaces for people to have quiet time. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for multiple cooks. Absolutely stunning views through huge windows. Easy walk to Pelican Brewing. This is not your average Oregon Coast rental. It’s a beautiful home in the ultimate location. Well appointed, with nice touches for families (toys, kids tableware, sound machine, etc). Great for our family with plenty of space and bathrooms. The main space has a beautiful view and is spacious enough for a family dinner and playing board games. We booked this house for my daughters second birthday and reunited as a family. The view and access to the beach right outside the kitchen doors was unbeatable. As a big family that still needed our own space, this house was perfect. Everyone had their own quarters to decompress and reset. Everyone had their own bathroom which was nice too. The pictures simply do not do it justice. We barely left the house. This was the best experience we ever had with any rental properties and we’ve stayed in quite a few! Melannie thought of every single detail to make our stay comfortable and so very enjoyable. Out your sliding back door is the most spectacular view of the ocean and haystack rock. The home is done beautifully and has everything that you will need. The beds and linens are wonderful also. Stocked with plenty of towels and coffee is provided. Melannie was awesome also. Always responding back quickly.
