I love the location of the hotel, but am sad to see the lovely restaurant gone and replaced by a seafood chain. Some of the changes, such as no inside dining, I hope are temporary. Our room had an adjoining door to the one next door and it was very noisy. Fortunately, the people next door settled down at a reasonable hour. The bathroom door had a big hole in it which was probably from someone kicking it. The interior was clean, but the building really needs an exterior cleaning and the wood surfaces need repainting. We have spent considerable time in Seaside, so know this isn’t only due to the beach location. Also, only 1 of the 2 elevators is functioning, so there were considerable waits, especially since cleaning staff uses the same elevator and only 2 are permitted to ride at once due to Covid restrictions. The staff were very friendly.
