"Great location if you're visiting historic St. Charles, and it has a dedicated parking spot! It's also very spacious with plenty of beds. Negatives for us: The main bedroom needs blackout curtains. Two street lights shine directly into the eyes of those trying to sleep there. The pillows and bed aren't very comfortable. Also, the a/c is limited to 72 degrees. Doesn't sound terrible, but it was super stuffy in the main bedroom, so we had to open the windows. While it's great to be close to St. Charles, all of the loud cars leave bars and cruise through town until 2:30 a.m. Between the lights shining in, the stuffiness, and the noise, we couldn’t sleep. I couldn't fall asleep until I moved to the couch with a blanket...not my idea of vacation. All easy fixes if the hosts get some blackout curtains and allows the guests to control the a/c. For the price point, we expect to at least get a good night of sleep. We travel quite a bit, and this place is a solid 4 but definitely needs some improvements to make the place more comfortable. The rugs could also use a good cleaning. The hosts aren't super responsive through the app. Would stay here again if improvements are made as it's a decent place in a great location."
