The hotel is older but is not terrible, however I was having problems with my room door shutting and ended up locking myself out, went to the desk and they gave me a new key, still has having difficulties with the door shutting, at this point maintenance had to come to the room and they could not fix it and said they would put a work order in. The door shut from the inside just not the outside, which wasn't a problem while we were in the room but became a problem having to have at least someone stay in the room at all times or leave the door not shut all the way.

Front desk staff was really unprofessional. The lobby smelled like smoke. There was no soda in the vending machine, no coffee available in the morning. I was also given a room on the second floor which was really inconvenient given my two young kids. Also I don't think it's wheel chair accessable up there. People leave their trash sitting outside their room because they don't empty the trash cans often enough. On my second night I got woken up at about 1am by someone banging on my neighbors door. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room. No TV remote. But I didn't see any pests which was good. I had enough towels for me and my two kids for two days without requesting more. I had a room with two beds which was nice. I don't think they offer that at the Cadillac motel. But unless I absolutely need that other bed, the Cadillac motel is better, especially considering the $100 deposit you have to give at Oyo.

Worst Hotel in Owensboro

I asked to be switched to a non smoking room and was switched to an ashtray. There were flies buzzing around. The heat didn't work. The shower didn't work. There were what looked like blood stains on both sides of the comforter. Work crews were banging on walls and floors next door before 7am. And they ask for a deposit? Seriously?

If you thinking of staying in a cheap hotel in the Owensboro area. There’s a motel 6 that’s probably better than this. We picked this place because it was reasonable and had a pool. Let me tell you, if they said they had cleaned the room I wouldn’t of believed them. The bathroom had stains, hair and soap scum, there was trash every where and the floor by the bed had a huge dark stain that was creepy. The pictures were ripped off the walls and the front desk person gave me the TV remote and stated “things just disappear around here”. I will never stay here again, in fact we checked out early and found a different hotel to stay at

The facility was run down and dirty. There were roaches in the room . The sink was broken and there was no tv in the room- it had been removed from the wall with only wires hanging. I would not ever stay there again.

Barely got checked in and left. Trash left on floor. Sex stains on sheets. Makeup stains on pillow cases. Furniture has cigarette burns on wood. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

First to start off both rooms i had were hot and no way to cool down since the units in the rooms didnt work nor did the tvs and also tvs did not have remotes both rooms were dirty stained bed lining cigarette burns in carpet and no towels or toiletries in either room and was told the pool would be open on the day we were staying at was told at chrck in the pool was closed

Work trip

The front desk lady was helpful and friendly. I was able too check in quickly and receive the hotel room key. The room was clean, enough towels, cold air, warm water in shower and good pressure.

nothing. we got a a non smoking room and room smelled like smoke. the entire 5 days we stayed , housekeeping never came to change the bedding or clesn the room. our tv remotes didn't work. it seemed as if the place didnt have any policies as far as what you can and cant do on the property. we saw some fishy stuff going on. The staff was actually nice but they need to change some policies and relook into their customer service.

I booked with Expedia to help a friend get a room that was stranded 5 hours away. No notice that hotel requires $100 security deposit. Hotel refused to take Credit card over phone. Total run around with hotel blaming Expedia and Expedia not helping. Totally worthless service to use Expedia.

Great room rates, only a couple of quick miles to convention center. Was pretty loud and chaotic Friday night outside room (a couple of cursing screaming volleys after midnight). Rooms and hotel has quite a bit to improve on, attention to detail lacking. Pool not open. Whoever they got to take the pictures of this place deserves an award for their quality work! They polished it up pretty good with great composition and exposure stitching.

Some of the aesthetics of the facility seem recently renovated which is nice(i.e. paint, decor, etc.), however, the Rooms were a sauna upon arrival and it took all night for the small AC unit to drop it a few degrees but were unable to sleep under the cover due to the heat, the remote to the tv didn’t have batteries and wasn’t programmed to the TV once we got batteries so TV was not an option, the ice machine was broken so only option for ice was to go buy some at the store, and there was no soundproofing to the room so any exterior noise was as if it was in the room which doesn’t help when there is a biker bar connected to the lobby. There were also domestic disturbance issues happening in the parking lot upon check in. Definitely shouldn’t be recommended for stays close to Holiday World where children would obviously be staying. I had to apologize to my family for not doing my research.
