Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies.
The only downside is that parking is not available at the property. However it is a pleasant (but hilly!) 5minute walk to the public carpark, which is not excessively priced for long stay.
