Disaster

There was no contact information. Location was. It clear. Folks working nearby had no idea that the place existed. Imagine traveling 10 hrs to a foreign country only to find your reservations and likely the place were invalid.

Great location

Perfect location in Casco Antigua in Bolivar square surrounded by outdoor cafes and restaurants. Great roof with a small pool and private.

Beautiful, well-appointed apt - great location!

A really beautiful and well-appointed apartment in a great location. Everything about the place was excellent - bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, lots of toiletries, the kitchen was fully-equipped. I would definitely stay here again. The 3 rooms are in a shared building and so there was no dedicated front-desk person, which caused a delay in check-in. It would be better if someone was always there to receive people -- ensure you have an agreement on your arrival time before you get there.

Great apartment in Casco Viejo!

I stayed 2 nights in one of the Niceplace Inn apartments. The location was perfect, close to everything. The king size bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The roof top deck is great! Unfortunately, the pool was not in operation, but still it is a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the sunsets. Ariel, the owner/manager, was there to welcome me and help me carry my luggage to the 3rd floor as the elevator was not functioning. He was also available via Whatsapp for any questions. This place is a little jewel and they are taking good care of it, and provide excellent customer service. I really appreciated the little details such as the complementary snacks and wine. The apartment being in an old building an in front of the Plaza Bolivar, it could get busy and noisy at night, and despite the fact that I'm a light sleeper, I still really enjoyed my stay there. Would I go back? Yes, in a heart beat!

Great place to stay in Casco Viejo!

Stayed 5 nights in this very comfortable inn. Our “room” was really a small apartment with a full kitchen, bedroom and bath. The bed was very comfortable, linens of high quality, air conditioning a blessing ( pretty hot and humid there in Feb.). The roof top deck is a great place to sit and relax in the evening, great views of the city and the adjacent square. This is not a “hotel” with front desk or maid service, more like a rental, however Katherine and Ariel were available via phone and WhatsApp for any questions or problems( we had a few questions, no problems!) Two things to be aware of- payment is by cash or PayPal only.i have a PayPal account so it wasn’t a issue, but I was expecting to just use a credit card. And while the address is correct, the sign on the building actually says Hotel Columbia not “Niceplace Inn” . Our Uber driver couldn’t find the place, no one we asked for directions had heard of Niceplace Inn , turns out two companies operate this establishment. Confusing at first. If you book, tell taxi or Uber the address and that it’s in same building as the Casablanca Restaurant ( everyone knows it, and it is a terrific restaurant- great food and drinks, very friendly helpful waiters. We ate there many times! Great place to stay in that area, within walking distance of attractions in the Casco , coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Would highly recommend!

The best place we stayed in Panama.

This apartment was so nice that we contemplated moving to Panama City. It had everything you could possibly need, gorgeous place, perfect location and all the comforts of home. The proprietor, Ariel, made us feel at home and even let us check out late on the busiest day of the year. I wish there was more stars on the rating.

Great Apartment With Great Staff

Let me begin by saying it's probably the best location in Casco Viejo. After combing through all the lodging and reviews in Casco Viejo, I kept reading about most of them having clubs with nonstop music blaring all night. There are a few restaurants below, and live violinists and dancers, however it wasn't too loud and it was over before midnight so my sleep was not interrupted. The check in process was easy, the staff friendly, and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. They had very nice complementary snacks and wine which was a nice touch. I liked it soo much that I booked an additional night. The wifi was great as well. I FaceTimed with my mother, and she loved the old world style of the apartment so much that she decided she and the family would stay there when touring PC before they join me in Bocas Del Toro. The only thing that can be an issue is that the elevator wasn't working, so I had to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs. I have a bad ankle, so after shopping til I almost dropped my ankle was swollen and so painful that I was limping and could barely walk, so climbing all those stairs was very difficult that night. My mother has difficulty walking, so the elevator would have to be working when she comes in order for them to stay there. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Convenient locación. Pool area was just right for a get together with friends. The a/c worked.well and the street noise level was surprisingly low. I'd come back.
