"Stayed 4 nights, did only clean room once. No spare toilet paper in the room. Had to find spare once in the common bathroom downstairs after hours. Room right above a lounge/cafe with a birthday on Saturday night. Loud music all night, impossible to sleep and no service onsite"

"Clean room and well maintained, decent desk. The kitchenette lacked a dish towel or paper towel. Also they did don't take out trash from the room."

"The Solitaire was perfect for my needs while visiting my son who lives in the Pankow neighborhood. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. The neighborhood was upscale. Public transportation (bus) stops in front of the building, or 8 minute walk to mainline tram. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I plan on staying there again when I travel back to Pankow."

"This is a very sad place to stay. There are no restaurants nearby and you cannot cook on the stove because it doesn't get hot enough (I had to use the counter-top tea kettle to even boil water) so food is challenging. Don't make the mistake of checking in on a weekend--Smartments is not staffed and no human will respond to your inquiries (you'll just get AI responses saying someone will contact you "soon," which they will not). There were dirty dishes in our room when we checked in. The laundry...

"The hotel is generally adequate, but not special. It’s rated as four stars but no gym, no kettle/coffee in the room, no major amenities to speak of. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall, it’s fine. "
