“Einfaches, aber sauberes Appartement. Günstig gelegen, 500m bis zum Hafen und 500m bis zum Strand. Die Inhaberin und das Servicepersonal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Jederzeit gerne wieder.”

“Overcrowded pool area was the biggest disappointment - there is nowhere near enough space to accommodate the number guests they have - it is crying out for an extension to the decking area around the pool and hence the number of sun beds could be increased from the handful they now have.”

“Beds are less than desirable and pool area could use a good cleaning. Staff is super kind and helpful. Breakfast is delivered to the room so coffee isn’t warm by the time it makes it to you. No soap or toiletries of any kind. This isn’t a place to stay if you struggle with steps.”

“DO NOT BOOK this property . When I arrived for a x2 night booking ,the WiFi was not working this also meant the TV streaming service was not available. I made contact via WhatsApp and also went to the Sister Hotel ( The Water ) to try and sort out. There was a total lack of engagement from the host. They told me it was fixed the following day but it was not. I verified the fault by taking the receptionist to the property . She agreed there was still no WiFi. I asked for some compensation for……

“Everything about this property is fantastical. I’m glad I chose it and I had a wonderful stay. Room clean and tidied up daily including refreshed bowls and cutlery as needed. All the rooms are close together but give 90% illusion of privacy so that was really great as well. Bed reset was daily. The sunrise view deserves a special mention. Highly recommend and I would stay there again.”

“The hotel was well situated for easy walking access to town and the bus stops. It felt new and well looked after, and was in a good location for the couple of nights I was there. I booked a king room, which was on the ground floor and although the patio door was double glazed, you could hear a deal of outside noise. The room was also quite small and also did not have a secondary privacy curtain, so you did not feel private when washing/getting dressed etc. you would need to draw the blackout……

“Location spettacolare, situata su una collina da cui si vede il mare. Personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato molto le chiacchierate di fine giornata con il proprietario e gli altri ospiti della struttura. Se ricapiteremo sull’isola torneremo volentieri qui!”

“We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs……

“Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate……
