“My husband and I booked a room through expedia. When we arrived at the hotel to check-in, the lady at the front desk, she notified us that since we were local, they could not accommodate us. I understand that it is policy, but it is very frustrating. You never know what someone is going through. We are in a very tough situation right now, but there are tons of people who need accommodations for things such as house fires or other natural disasters. We were then told we should have a full refund……
