The Infinity Resort Tropea was a dream. From the rooms, to the staff, the grounds and the views. They were very accommodating with our family of 12 including special dietary needs of one of our members. I would definitely return.

A very very nice place where to go close to Tropea

A very elegant but simple hotel with fanastic sea view. Swimming pool nice and very clean. Service is really excellent and all people very kind and helpful.

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff).

Oasis of peace

Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!

Great property, modern, clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Stay here is you have a car as taxis are not available most of the time. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was good. Not a lot of other food option’s nearby except for the pizza place a short walk towards town and a right run towards the water.

It was a very, very good hotel, I can only recommend it. Very friendly staff, especially Frederica and the cleaning staff are very polite. The facility is clean and the breakfast is good. The dinner on the other hand is relatively expensive and a little more upmarket. (but you have to try the cheese cake – its very nice :)) We would love to come back

Pros: perfect for couples. Parking available. Amazing view. Private and quiet. Attentive staff. Cons: the building and the common areas need maintenance and some love. The AC in our room did not work properly. They only give you one keycard, so the AC turns on when you come in to the room. Not ideal after spending the day at the beach or in town.

This property was very clean. The room has air conditioning that worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the door room did not close well. We had to pull it shut to latch. We paid for ‘sea view’ but the bushes were too high to see any kind of view. Additionally, I forgot to list that it was 3 adults. Despite the room description stating it slept 3 in the room, they made us pay an additional $100 per night for the extra adult. There is no elevator. Only stairs. So if you have a big luggage, be ready to carry it down and up stairs or roll it up the big hill outside. Overall, I was happy with the location. The pool was great, the views from the property was beautiful. The restaurant was very good. One thing to note, they do not provide bottled water. It is all extra charge for the mini fridge. Also, the beach is a micro beach. There was no live music.

I had trouble with airplane changes that needed to be changed (I had put down the wrong date for the return flight). I tried to do it online and by phone with no success. After a half hour to 45 minutes I went down to the front desk for help. After about a half hour of her talking in Italian, I received conformation of the changes. Both of them at the front desk were helpful, kind and patient with me. I couldn't be happier.

Great place to stay

Great hotel in good location. We enjoyed the pool area and the access to the sea. Staff was very friendly and service minded and the breakfast assortment was rich with great variety. Access to the beach club incl shuttle from the parking are was a great bonus. We can highly recommend this hotel. Be aware that pets are welcome!

Worst stay and experience I have ever had. Pictures are extremely deceiving… Upon check in, we get told the AC unit was not working in the entire property and it would get fixed another day.. so the receptionist said “just sleep with the door open” as if that was safe or even what we paid for. I’ve been days without any power and wouldn’t have a problem with it but when i’m paying what i’m paying for this “luxury” hotel, i would expect some type of compensation. There were no accommodations or anything at all. Not even water was given as a compensation- almost 3 euros for a bottle of water. I contacted expedia to see if we could get a relocation and the first thing they did was contact the property. The expedia employee spoke with the property and was just stunned with the negligence of their service. They said the property said no accommodations could be made and we just have to wait for AC to start working. Thank goodness for expedia, they got us out of there ASAP and relocated us to another hotel. We ended up having the best experience ever at Villa Paola.

We have traveled and experienced many places in Calabria and this property has won our hearts. The elegance of the architecture, the kindness of the staff and above all the access to a splendid, genuine beach and incomparable swim experiences in the magnificent cleanThyrrhenian Sea!!!
