Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: It was clean, comfortable and very easy to access by public transportation. There was an outside garden that you could go out to and sit, relax.
Location: Located near the Metro and RER train lines. So it that made it easy to visit many parts of the city. There are restaurants near and local stores.
Hotel Ampere was easy to find on the Pereire Metro line #3 and the RER train station Pereire-Levallois. There are a number of restaurants in the area, as well as bakeries, a Monoprix grocery store and a book store, to name a few. It is a clean and attractive hotel. The room for the three of us was comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and felt quite safe and comfortable here. I would recommend it. Take a walk around and enjoy the neighbourhood you will be surprised what you find.

Quiet and very comfortable hotel close to Metro

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Pros: We liked the location and the comfortable room.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The hotel is not in the centre but you can easily get there on the metro. Restaurants and bars are nearby. To walk to the Champs Elysees is about 3km.
Everything about the hotel suited us. The staff were very helpful and polite. We asked for a different bed arrangement which was changed quickly. The room was so clean, the beds were comfortable and the hotel in general was quiet and calming. The breakfast was well worth adding to the cost. All the food was of top quality and well presented. The restaurants around the square provided lots of choice. The two we tried were the Brasserie and the steak place. You pay but the quality is excellent and it IS Paris. The Metro Perreire is very close, also the RER which got us directly back from the Eiffel tower. Hotel Ampere - we shall return.

Great Value and location

Posted Apr 22, 2017
Pros: Location and clean and the value
Location: close to a nice square that has lots of cafe options. Safe and quiet neighborhood, yet within a good walk to the major tourist attractions
Great location that is in a quiet residential area that is still walking distance 2-3 miles 1 way (if you like to walk the streets of Paris - we loved it). Close to a square that has lots of great cafe locations. Staff was all good, though 1 of the receptionists had a bit of an attitude. Tony the bartender is the best! Clean, and a great value.

A lovely stay in Paris

Posted Apr 20, 2017
We booked this hotel through Expedia, an easy process as always. A short city break meant we had 4 days in Paris at the Ampre. It was perfect, clean and spacious - friendly staff who were helpful and professional. Great location for the hotel, lovely restaurants, the room was great etc. No bad comments. I would recommend this to anyone going. It's outside a metro stop and the area is central to Paris but quiet enough to feel more removed from the hustle and bustle.

Brilliant budget hotel !

Posted Apr 14, 2017
The hotel was a pleasant surprise considering the budget price! It's in a busy location surrounded by gorgeous cafes, bistros and brassieres. There is a metro station opposite as well as an RER station which goes directly to the Eiffel Tower an all the central sights. We had a fabulous stay x

Great hotel

The hotel was in a good location, in walking distance to many places of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only room for improvement was that the breakfast room was a little small, but there were several cafes nearby!

Paris marathon hotel

Posted Apr 10, 2017
I've stayed in this area before and really like it as you can walk to the champs elysee in 20 mins or so, but also have nice local restaurants, supermarkets etc, giving it it that 'local' feel. Also well served by metro, wagram is 5 mins walk away. I stayed in this hotel for the Paris marathon 2017 and got a good rate on Expedia. Easy walk to the bag drop/ start line, and my room faced the courtyard so was pretty quiet. The hotel itself seems like it might be a business hotel, clean and simple rooms in a modern decor, very comfy bed and all quality looking, with friendly staff. There is a monoprix over the road and I recommend the 'petit villiers' restaurant 5 mins away which I recommend, good food nice staff and good value.
