"We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin is cosy but adequate for four, even six people. The location and grounds make this a relaxing getaway, with grill and fire pit. There is a very beautiful river nearby which seems a popular fishing destination and the family and I walked down to see it. We were here, not for fishing, but to see the Great American Eclipse, and this place suited our small family just fine. Meals can be cooked if needed and the comfort and temperature was great."

"This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this cabin on Autumn Lake. It is absolutely perfect! The location is stunning and has the back drop of the perfect fall setting. The location is exactly why we chose to stay here again this year. It is a five minute drive to the salmon river. It is so easy to get up and go fish, come home for lunch and then hit the river again in the afternoon. There is a great gas station and dollar general less than 10 minutes away for any last minute items...

"Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing."

"We were looking for a place that could accommodate 7 people, so choices were limited. Luckily I found Brian's place, and it was very nice. The pictures were accurate in the listing, the place was clean. We had one small issue and I texted the owner, he addressed the issue the next morning, so communication was very good. The house sits overlooking a small lake which was nice, and was secluded. It was about 5 minutes to the small town of Altmar - Dollar General and a couple restaurants/bars,...

Our host has been responsive, kind, and welcoming. Their cabin made our Christmas holiday extra special. It's a beautiful property."

"Overall, a really good time there with my family. The rental was awesome and really well maintained. Would definitely go there again. Only complaint was there was just a 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived and no other TP there for us to use. Caused us to have to make a late night run to get some more. Also, only had one garbage bag for us."

"My adult children, spouses, and grandkids ranging in age from 7 months to 20 all had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out in this spacioius house, swimming and hot tubbing, playing pool, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend."
