BEDBUGS! We walked in at 3 am because we had an over 10 hour drive, already booked and thought it would be an easy fix, but we come in the room, it stinks, it was non-smoking but cig ashes lined the mattress. We lifted the mattresses up and low and behold, there were bugs under both. When I brought the worker back, he mansplained how bed bugs worked to my niece, after I clearly showed him a picture of the bug, and told her if she didn’t see them in the top corner there wasn’t any. When he started searching he lifted the mattress up like he was putting the sheet on, looked for all of two seconds and proclaimed that there were no bugs. He said he was going to clean another room and him and another staff member went and did that. After that whole experience, we decided we didn’t want to wait for another room. He refunded the deposit but not the hotel room. Their policy stated no refunds for a cancellation, which I understand but I refuse to stay in a room where bugs are! Terrible experience, will never return and don’t recommend.

Non-smoking room but smell of cigarettes was so apparent that we had to open window to air it out and it did help a bit but still couldn’t get rid of all the smell. Asked staff to switch room but were told all rooms were booked. Totally understand their hands were tied but still it was a pretty bad experience overall especially since we had young kids!
