“On the plus side, the bathroom was very clean. On the downside, there was no hot water in the shower. There was no alarm clock, or any clock, anywhere. There were no kleenex. The ceiling in the bedroom had water damage. The "hotel" had no staff. There was a number to call with questions, but nobody answered. “Another wonderful stay at Stow House - a beautiful boutique hotel in the Yorkshire Dales.
We stay in the Cowboy room - wonderful room with roll top bath and heaps of space, with fantastic views over the Dales!

Breakfast delicious. Decor is cool & stylish. Artwork on the walls. Lots of books. Honesty bar & cocktail hour with homemade cocktails from the Savoy cocktail book, kindly served in the bar……
