“We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. “We were in need of a nice, relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got. There were four of us (me, my husband, my 16-year-old, and my 11-year-old) and we each had our own space. We loved going down to the dock, and there is also a town beach just down the road. The home is filled with fun antiques and reminds you of a clean, well-kept, and charming grandmother’s house. We wanted a low-key vacation, and so we enjoyed short jaunts (less than 15 mins away) to Kent to enjoy its downtown and……

It is close enough to my family in Ridgefield for me to fee like I am just around the corner, while being in a quiet, peaceful private property. The setup was perfect for myself and my mom, but could also accommodate a larger group. It isn’t a big space, but had everything that we needed.
