Access to the fire pit was a bonus and being able to walk to town is true. There is an EV charger only a .5 mile walk away and on your way into town. Sylvia restaurant was one of the best dining experiences this year for us and funky/quirky Early Terrible should not be missed. "Maryanne was a great host, easy to get a hold of and helpful work with. The location of the cottage is perfect for wine trail access, and the lakefront location is a plus. The cottage has the basic amenities, however the pullout couch left a bit to be desired when staying as a group of 3. I believe Maryanne is working on a replacement which would be fantastic! The cottage could use new French doors to the deck as they’re shaky and not the most secure, and the dock was not as usable as we’d hoped...

"There were 3 of us that stayed at the property. It was easy to find. The owner was very responsive to questions and quick to help when we had a minor issue with smoke alarms. The house was clean, quiet and inviting. The only thing that I would suggest for future would be adding a microwave. I would definitely stay there again of I am in need of a place while in the area."

"My boys loved fishing in the creek behind the house and we all enjoyed the waterfall at the end of the quiet street! The house was as expected from the listing and reviews that we read and knowing that it is an older home. It would be nice to add a door to the bathroom from the kitchen. Also, the pocket door to the left bedroom was broken, though we were able to make do. Kitchen cabinets could use a thorough clean-out and cleaning. We had to pre-wash some pots/pans before use due to dead bugs....
