I judge a hotel by the breakfast offered to the patrons. If the people staying at the hotel are served a good breakfast, it may make up for some of the faults of the hotel stay. We took one look at the breakfast offered and left for the diner up the street. Draw your own conclusions. The room was plain and dull. Hotel just gloomy in general. Don't believe the hype on Hotels.com as they aren't telling the truth.

The room was advertised as a suite that sleeps 4. This included a kind size bed (sleeps 2) and a pull out couch (sleeps an additional 2). This is false advertising, with the key word being sleep. The pull out mattress was abysmal, springs right at the surface, woke up multiple times (and I normally sleep through the night every night) in pain... Switch positions, then repeat an hour or two later. If you advertise the room sleeps four then all four spots where someone would sleep should be a relatively comfortable enough for actually SLEEPING. What I brought this to the attention with the folks at the front desk, they agreed with me that their pull out mattresses are quite bad. That indicates that this is an issue at the hotel is or should be aware of, but it remains on unaddressed. I asked for a mattress topper and was told that they don't have one. All they could give me for extra padding was an additional blanket, which was thin and didn't serve purpose they hoped it would serve. Add in that one of our toilets ran constantly and the refrigerator was leaking... Blech.
