Very helpful staff and very clean

First off Margo was great on check in and helping with directions and Holly baked us fresh cookies for the evening and brought us blankets by the fire. The first room we were given all the windows were on the main walkway but they happily moved us to a beautiful room. Beds and pillows are great and the sheets are amazing. House is well located with a walk to town about a half mile plus. Sitting by the outdoor fireplace outside the breakfast room was absolutely stunning and so peaceful plus as the evening went on a great place to meet other travelers. Just wonderful Only one negative and that is the breakfast or as they say 'small plates'. Really nothing but the yogurt and toast were worth it....everything was left out so the croissants were dry and the platter of small egg bites were overdone and cold. Overnight oats were not edible. We are in Maine and the only fruit to put on anything was grapes?? Some people around us had gone out and bought their own bagels and cream cheese .....we were jealous. As a sidenote, when I used the tongs to take a croissant and then realized it was hard I told the attendant while tapping on it and he said this is all we have....I then handed it to him and he took it and put it back on the pile after we both had handled it. No gloves....not the best practice. So a great place to stay but don't count on more than toast in the morning

Worth every penny! This place is great! You won’t believe the view (we got cabin 26). Super we’ll equipped - we even bought lobsters to cook at home and they had EVERYTHING! We had a tiny little issue with the bathroom and the owners response was immediate, attending to the matter in minutes :) Will hopefully come back soon!

We loved everything about this place except the tiny stand up shower. We love listening to vinyl, so it was awesome to borrow a record player and records to listen too!! Friendly staff, beautiful grounds right across the street from the water.
