I booked a King Bed room in the East building 6 days in advance. I got to the hotel, and checked in. I found it odd that the Assistant GM was the one doing my check in, and essentially didn’t talk at all during the check in process other than asking my name. I got my keys and went to my room. It was not a King Bed room, nor was it even in the building stated on my reservation. I got a double bed, 1st floor in the west building. The room was dirty, sand everywhere, loads of sand and dirt in the bathroom sink, hairs in the tub. I walked back up to the front desk, and talked to the Assistant GM explaining that I was supposed to be in a King Bed room and the the given room was dirty. He immediately cut me off and said “no you’re not, that’s not the info I have.” I showed him my booking information, which he glanced at, but reiterated his previous statement. I then explained that the room was dirty and proceeded to try and show him the photos that were taken, but he refused to even look at them.
I will never be booking with this hotel again after this experience. Especially with someone so high up in the chain of management. He was extremely rude and abrasive.
