Excellent location! Walk to everything. Less than 5 minutes and you are on the beach. Less than 10 minute walk to St Armands circle with tons of restaurants and shopping. Access when we arrived in the evening was easy and any time we needed to reach owners either before or during trip was easy and quick. We knew from reviews that it was an older dated building. HOWEVRR we were still disappointed with the condition of the room. Bed was comfortable though. Bathroom was really horrible. We had paid in full so decided to just 'suck it up'. We've travelled extensively all over the world and this was the worst room. We faired better in Cambodia so was expecting more from Florida. We thought perhaps the property was going to be demo'd and thats why such disrepair. I did relay our concerns to the owner and he told me they were renovating next year. Id stay here again due to its location, but only AFTER its renovated.

The positives are excellent location, walking distance to St. Armand's Circle and beautiful beach; comfortable bed, newer microwave and mini fridge/freezer. The many negatives: rundown, fairly dirty property, skimpy towels, uncontrollable air conditioning and the housekeeping situation. Rules state housekeeping upon request which meant that absolutely no housekeeping unless you request by text or phone call. My husband removed our garbage and asked housekeeper where to deposit it. She pointed and replied, "Take it to the dumpster". We had to repeatedly request a fresh garbage bag and fresh towels. Room had one hand towel, one washcloth, two bath towels and two small beach towels upon arrival. Housekeeper made us feel as if we were bothering her. Dirty laundry hamper kept at base of stairs along with other unsightly cleaning items. No stoppers in bathroom sink or tub made me nervous about dropping my toothbrush and losing it down the drain. The inn advertised that beach chairs are available for guest use. Chairs were terribly beat up and rusty; once at the beach it was discovered that one chair was broken and unable to be used. My husband had to walk back to room for another chair. I guess you get what you pay for but I expected a higher level of cleanliness and overall comfort for $250/night for 6 nights. Would not recommend Lido Islander Inn but definitely recommend visiting the area.

Condo was large and well-appointed. (Regular rooms looked small.) First floor outdoors is a cluttered housekeeping station. No outdoor sitting areas except next to parking lot; better off walking to beach. Overpriced for what it is, but other inns in the area are even more overpriced. Can't beat the location on Lido Key.

Shhhh. Hidden little gem. Close to the beach and St. Armonds Cir. Lots of food and shopping. Room was small but who wants to sit in the room.
