I rarely write reviews, unless it's an extremely positive or a negative experience. I booked this place for the Christmas break (3days). The room was called iguana, and if iguanas actually lived in it they would be dead in seconds. It was 48f outside extremely wet and windy those particular days. There was no heat in the room. The AC was broken , there were no markings on , it took us a while to figure its touch screen system out. My kids slept in their jackets because their linen was thread bare. Their fire alarm blinked the whole night. I paid quite a bit/night to listen to trucks all night. We braved it for 2 nights. When the maintenance guy told us our AC was broken . I asked the manager if I could get a refund for our last night , since it was getting very uncomfortable for the kids ( a baby and a 8yr old) . They flat out refused. They said it's a non refundable booking. Ok !! So you'd rather take the money and take no accountability that your guests were miserable during their stay. I was ready to pay for the last 2 painful nights ,but the day they told us the ac was broken , and there was no other room available, I decided to check out. They offered me a heat tower with inches of lint stuck to its filter ... I am ok with hypothermia, I don't want my babies to get an asthmatic attack.
It's important to listen to your patrons , I was not making excuses to check out early. There clearly was an issue with the room, but no solution :(
