The staff is friendly depending on who is working the shift. People have attitude if you are not staying in the hotel. The staff that are super friendly are the cleaning waiters and waiting
First of all - This hotel has a lovely view and a god location. But the service is fake….they were lying to our faces.
We had booked 4 nights and have payed them all in advance through Hotels.com. After the first night, we had to leave and fly home due to an emergency, unfortunately. We tell the reception about the situation and they are so kind and we ask if we could arrange a refund, for at least the last two nights. No problem, they just have to sort it out with Hotels.com. I call hotels.com myself and they say, it is not a problem, if the hotel the is okay with it. I tell the reception that they should have gotten an email from Hotel.com where they should confirm the refund.
I ask again later in the reception if all is okay, and they answer ‘yes’. I ask once again before we head off to the airport, and they say they just have to figure out how to do the refund, as we have payed for all nights, but they will let us know.
Now I am told by Hotels.com that Per Asta refuses to give us any refund, as we are not entitled to it. It is true, we are not! But the ting is that the reception just lied to our faces and the moment we had left the country, they refuse the refund. What kind of hospitality is that. I fully respect cancelation rules but I do not respect when people say something and do something else behind your back. So i would definitely not put my feet there again due to dishonesty from the staff.
Absolut fantastischer Ausblick auf die Bucht von Kotor. Frühstück war lecker, Zimmer sauber. Personal im Service war freundlich, aber alleine. Daher relativ lange Zeiträume, um zu frühstücken.
Half way around Kotor Bay is the Per Astra and wow, this is just a beautiful hotel with amazing views of the bay, attentive staff and great food. It was the first stop on our trip along the Dalmatian coast and we really enjoyed it, you’ll need your own car or motorcycle to really appreciate the area but it is well worth :)
A beautiful hotel, and our pleasure to stay at Hotel Per Astra. Set at the top of Perast, you wake up to a view over the small town and bay of Kotor. It is a view that genuinely can’t be matched... We had breakfast by the pool both mornings, and continued to enjoy that view over a simply perfect breakfast. I would defiantly recommend the pancakes! The hotel’s staff helped with my inquiries ahead of our stay, very quickly, and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our lovely room (junior suite) overlooked the bay, and was incredibly luxurious. A huge (what’s bigger than king-size?) bed was very comfortable. Although gold isn’t necessarily to my design preferences, it was a luxurious change :) A huge shower and spa bath too. I would very happily come back, and if I were you, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here.
Very attentive staff, clean, efficient service at bar/restaurant and by pool area.

Pretty good hotel
Generally a pretty nice hotel.
On arrival the staff were really helpful and knowledgable on the parking in the street/car park outside.
The hotel is an old building so had its little quirks like uneven floors, and an old lift.
Great location for the centre of town and the breakfast was brilliant.
We stayed here for 4 nights towards the end of June. The room was very nice and quite large. We had some issues with the AC, but once I figured out how to program the remote control we were fine. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices and good service. We had several lunches and dinners at the restaurant and they were all quite good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm. The only downside is the mosquitoes were quite bad, we got lots of bites in the late afternoon. Views from the rooms and the property are gorgeous. The beach is about 5 minutes from the hotel. You have to walk down some rock stairs to get to the beach. It should be noted that this hotel is not handicap accessible, there are a lot of stairs. Overall we loved the hotel and would love to stay here again.
