“Todo fue maravilloso, el domo hermoso y comodo, la atencion y contacto con el hospedaje fenomenal, el personal exgelente y calido. Simplemente maravilloso y super recomendado.”
“This was a beautiful stay and the host/owner is so incredibly sweet and accommodating to any needs you may have. Highly recommended doing dinner on-site at least once as it is very much worth the cost. If you're planning on being in Urubamba, stay here!”
“It's right next to a beautiful rushing creek, with a lovely field across it. There is a view of the local ruins. The garden and common/dining area are beautiful as well. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. If you don't like white noise, the sound of the creek may not be for you, I enjoyed it. The description advertises down comforters and pillow selections, but that's not the case. We were cold, so we asked, and they provided a space heater, which……
“One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away……
“This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character.
Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive
The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well.
Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly.
The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress.
Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village
Overall, I’d come back and would recommend ”
“A really nice place with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The chalets have new bathrooms which are very high quality. Good breakfasts, and almost unlimited fruit to pick :)”
“What a gem this place is! Far enough away from the city to feel secluded, yet close enough to easily access the town of Tarapoto. The staff was friendly and eager to help and the grounds were beautiful. Thank you, German for all your help.”
“This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! ”
“Gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires.
Grandes chambres agréables et bien agencées.
Excellent petit-déjeuner.
Cadre exceptionnel avec vue sur les montagnes environnantes.”
"the room is fair. you got what you pay, they have everything you need, even kettle. meanwhile, the staff is super super nice ! full star for them and the breakfast is nice. they have really nicr fried rice"
"Good location. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast has lots of varieties and starts from 3:00am. Free airport shuttle bus service is an advantage."
"The hotel is very comfy, with nice staff and environment, the beds and toilet are all clean. There is staff standby in the front desk 24hrs, so even if we arrived the hotel late in midnight, still able to have help from the staff.
The breakfast lady is very nice too.
But the location is not in city centre, we have to travel through uber each time for about 15mins, but it is easy to call uber so doesnt really bothered.
They got thick blanket so it's warm and cozy in bed, but since the room is quite cold without heater, it is freezing cold when you are out of bed 4 in the midnight preparing to go out for some tour. Prepare really warm clothes."
