"We picked Grandmom's Place just needing to spend one night in Krabi Town. The room was comfortable and clean, and it was very good value for money. "This is my second time staying here and I hope to be back for a third! A lovely place to stay on Koh Lanta. Kim the owner and her staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The place is very quiet and peaceful, right on the beach going out one way. If you go out the other way on the road there is a 7 Eleven at the end of the drive and nice places to eat within a few minutes walk. Perfect place for a relaxing break."

"Service is not good. I tried emailing them and WhatsApp messaging for up to a week in advance with no response. As we were due to arrive after 8 PM and their website said if you’re arriving after eight to let the staff know because there wouldn’t be anybody at the front desk so we weren’t sure what we were going to come into turns out there was somebody there thankfully the pool is really great nice and big. "Staff here were very nice and tried to fix problems. However, my water was shut off in the middle of the night twice. The sheets had stains on them and I was given a different room then promised because my door was unable to lock. Overall has good potential, great staff and a good location, but the cleanliness and lack of facilities were a deal breaker for me! "
