Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The once elegant hotel is shabby compared to my two previous stays. Other than a new TV and bathroom refresh, it looks like the room furnishings have not been refreshed in 20 years. There was no decoration of the drab walls. The parking fee was $40 for one night and there was a previously undisclosed "Incidentals" charge on my credit card at check in. Not worth the $232 room cost! OBTW, the restaurant was closed!

Beautiful hotel walking distance from everything! Staff was very friendly, and allowed me to do early check in since my flight was early. Only complaint is the furniture in the rooms is dated, one of the chairs broke after sitting on it a few times.

Let me start by saying the Bellevue is beautiful. It’s clean, it’s upscale, it feels safe. The staff members we dealt with upon check in and check out were friendly. But our room was facing the street and even being 12 floors up we could not get any sleep- the traffic is SO LOUD. Like, sounds as if the engines are revving directly outside the window, and not 12 floors down. The whole place must just be one giant echo chamber. So the two nights we stayed, we got very poor quality sleep. The area around the hotel is also gross- no fault of the Bellevue of course, so that doesn’t factor into my rating, I just think it should be shared. Homeless people everywhere you look, urinating, nodding off, begging, etc. But perhaps that’s an issue in any big city. One other thing that I find a bit overkill is the additional $40/day to park. Overall, I did like the hotel for its beauty and cleanliness, but I’d prefer somewhere where I can actually get a good night’s sleep.
