The home has been recently furnished and upgraded. It features a backyard with golf course and lake views, heated swimming pool (heating optional), and BBQ grill. The Space: Welcome to our property! Please read our policies before booking. They answer most of the questions our guests have and provide important information regarding our properties. Please note that this homes furnishing may be slightly different than pictured, as furnishings are updated at the property. This 3 B/R home is located in a quiet neighborhood within the Ocotillo community. The home has been recently furnished and upgraded. It features a backyard with golf course and lake views, heated swimming pool (HEATING OPTIONAL), and BBQ grill. The home is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, a week vacation, or a month long stay. This listing is for the entire home including the backyard on the golf course with heated pool (OPTIONAL), gas barbecue, and lounge areas. The views of the Ocotillo golf course and lakes are tranquil and breath-taking. The home is 2250 square feet with high vaulted ceilings, a large kitchen with granite counter tops and new appliances. SLEEPING AREAS: Master suite with king-size bed and attached full bathroom (upstairs) Private bedroom with queen size bed (upstairs) Private bedroom with queen size bed (upstairs) Guest bathroom in hallway upstairs Living area with queen size sofa bed (main floor) Guest halfbath downstairs COMMON AREAS: Kitchen, dining room, living room and family room. A fully stocked laundry room, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, and vacuum cleaner are also available. (Children supplies such as highchair and pack n play are available for rent, please ask if needed. $3 per day per item, plus a $20 delivery charge. All fees subject to Arizona sales tax.) PARKING: There is off-street parking available for up to 4 cars (2 garaged). \*\*No Trailer or RV Parking Accommodations\*\* ENTERTAINMENT: 55” HDTV in living room 55” HDTV in family room 55” HDTV in Master Bedroom POOL (HEATING OPTIONAL): The swimming pool (heating optional) is not normally heated and time to get up to temperature can vary with the weather as well as other guest stays (may take up to 24-36 hours). Please let us know at booking time if you are interested in the heated pool (winter months) option. Guests requesting this option are responsible for a service fee ($50/night - 1 week minimum plus tax and fees) added on to your reservation cost. BACKYARD: Patio Seating Pool BBQ Fire pit PETS: \*\*\*Please let us know if you have pets as dogs only are welcome to stay here. There is a per pet fee of $10 per day (plus tax). We do require that you have a place to keep your pet (i.e. dog crate, pet carrier, etc.) while you may be away from the house. We also need to know a few things about your pet (color, breed, weight, and age). Please let us know these details at booking time so that we are able to inform the community of your pet. Please note that guests are still responsible for picking up after their pet. Additional cleaning fees may be charged for pet messes left behind. \*We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a startup supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc. so that upon check in you do not need to run to the store. If you have a longer stay planned, you may need to purchase some of these items. When booking, please let us know how many guests will be in your group as well as how many vehicles you will have on-site, as well as the nature of your visit. With that info we can make sure the home is ready for your group and that you have all the necessary supplies, linens, etc. WE are happy to answer any questions you may have. Saguaro Lake is not far away as well. This home is also located an easy drive to Major League Baseball spring training stadiums, the Barrett Jackson auto show, the Arabian Horse Show, the Fiesta Bowl and all the other great area events. If you are going to be travelling around the Southwest after your time in Phoenix, you can feel free to leave bigger bags here and use this as your base. San Diego, LA, Las Vegas, and the beaches of Mexico are all about 5 hours away. The Grand Canyon, Sedona, White Mountains, and AZ\`s wine country are 2-4 hours. Take your carry-on and leave the big stuff while you explore. We have been to almost every corner of the state, so if you want to know the hidden treasures, we would be happy to tell you our favorite places to visit. Please note, because Phoenix is so spread out, we advise having a vehicle if you stay with us. Public transportation is not far away from our home, but it takes a while to get to most parts of the city from our home. With a car, we are convenient to most parts of the Valley, including downtown Phoenix (sports, restaurants, and arts), Tempe (shopping, restaurants, nightlife), Glendale (sports and shopping) and Scottsdale (shopping, arts, sports, nightlife). OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: \*Pool Heating Optional with fee \*Noise ordinance set in place 10pm-8am. Multiple grocery stores are within five to ten minutes driving, and numerous restaurants are nearby. Getting Around: We HIGHLY advise having a car if you stay with us, and we have off-street parking available for you. Phoenix is a SUPER spread out city (50+ miles in all directions), so while we do have public transportation near us, it can take a while to get to your destination by bus. Feel free to ask about distances, and I\`ll let you know average drive times. I was looking for relaxing vacation and I found it. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and local parks. The pool was perfect for relaxing and cooling off in the summer heat. Once we were in the home though it was great; one of the nicest locations of the several Phoenix VRBOs in which we have stayed. Upstairs balcony off the master suite has exceptional views of golf course and lake. Pool was the perfect size with a rock fountain and ample lounge chairs. Outdoor BBQ worked well and separate fire pit seating area was awesome. Several large flat screen TVs: one in each of the two separate living rooms and in the master suite. It appeared housekeeping was done in a rush. We had to fix the kitchen faucet as it was frozen due to so much old matter/debris from the sink which did not allow the faucet to move. It did not appear the tile floors had been cleaned at all. Possibly just vacuumed. The master bedroom had popcorn seeds and cracker crumbs beside the nightstand. Some of the silverware was dirty and had to be re-washed. Because of COVID-19 we had even higher expectations regarding cleanliness. While we do not expect homeowners to provide condiments it’s nice to have a few of the basics. This home did not have any. The backyard is very nice. Our family enjoyed the pool/spa. ##### Sharon W. We never received a code for entry (nor was it ever sent to my spam). Our check-in was 4pm and at 12am we were just getting an emergency code from a general help VRBO/property Management call center. We were disappointed to not get any direct correspondence until the following morning (9hrs later). This was extremely disappointing. We were going to potentially have to go get a hotel our first evening. We did not get to bed until almost 2am. House was spacious inside and located in a nice gated community. There is definitely a lot of wasted “lounge/tv” space. One of the spaces could be utilized better as a game or entertainment room of some sort. Pool towels are scarce (4 towels only). Pool itself is very underwhelming. It is extremely small, hidden somewhat by shaded trees keeping the pool water very cold. The space of the backyard has a lot of waste where the pool could be a bit larger accommodating more people to move about freely. This is more of a wading pool. All in all, our time inside the house was pleasant however in 95 degree weather you intend to be outside in the pool. That was most dispointing feature of property. ##### Lindsay C. Great neighborhood! Great location! Several of us rented houses in the same neighborhood for a family reunion over Thanksgiving. Our house was perfect for us. My grandchildren loved the pool.
