Quality & service were excellent. We were blown away by the amount of care each staff member offered us in any situation. The care in the rooms was perfect, loved having complimentary snorkel's & water sports gear to take advantage of the amazing reef on the beach. The food was also phenomenal, Gaugin's breakfast lunch & dinner were top tier. The more 'premium' restaurant Ismay's actually felt like it fell a bit short of Gaugin's which was our only gripe since there was an upcharge and it was harder to get a reservation there. I also believe they could stand to ease up on the dress code for the sea grape, or have the barefoot grill open for dinner to allow guests to not need to dress up every night, it was a bit much to do it every night and makes packing harder if you need to fit more nice clothes. Excursions were super easy to set up and taxi service was seamless. Definitely do Stingray city & Captain Sean's tour if you have the time! Our stay at Galley Bay was near perfect and we hope to come back soon :)

The Lover's Beach staff was amazing - from the guys at the water sports shack (Odell, Jensen, and Shaquille) to the bartender (Kerry Anne), they were our favs. SO friendly and we had some good laughs. Kertie at the sports bar was the best! We ended up playing cards with her most nights and just laughing and having a great time. The golf cart guys are so friendly and lovely. Wasn't a huge fan of the pool scene but we are pretty laid back. Rasta Beach wasn't our style either and it had red flags the whole time. The villa layouts are awesome and the food at both Portofino and Nicole's were perfect. The cafe is great for the morning and pizza amazing for lunch - wish we had just stuck to those places the entire week for food and avoided the buffets altogether. The layout of the resort and location are to die for! We would absolutely go back again. If I had any criticisms, it would be that the front desk experience was not at all welcoming until we got to the golf car driver who was amazing, the buffets were blah and made us feel sick.

There was a major seaweed issue, which I know is not the property’s fault, but we had to move rooms because it was so bad and the smell was so bad. The staff was great in upgrading us for free to better rooms, I just wish we would have known because then we would’ve changed properties. We also didn’t know that they were doing free shuttles to better beaches, or we would have joined in on that. Instead, the only thing we could do was hang out by the pool. Tori Ann was great in setting us up on expeditions. The staff was amazing and so friendly, the food was so so. Most of the time it was very dry. We were just expecting very blue and sandy beaches and we’re disappointed that we didn’t get to enjoy that and had to spend a lot of money for the excursions to actually go to blue water and sandy beaches. Even though the staff more than made up for it, it wasn’t what we had hoped for do the amount of money we spent.

Very quite beautiful setting that was well maintained. Staff were great to work with and the food was well prepared and tasty. With several options of food and restaurants it met everyone’s tastes. The check in/out was very easy. It was a good week.
