Very tranquil rustic getaway in the hillside above Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbor. Private cottage rooms interconnected by walkways in the canopy of trees and flowers. Stunning views, free breakfast and relaxed vibe. Etched into a hillside just above the main drag and yacht club. Owner Robert Potter is always there to guide guests and make helpful suggestions for restaurants or arrange taxis.

Cool place to stay, it's all about the great view of English Harbour from rooms in the main house and at breakfast!!
Great little gem tucked away in the hill, simple, clean and straight forward. A nice change from the larger hotels with a personal feel.An ideal base to explore surrounding area. Friendly staff. Will be back.
I had a great experience at this hotel. My room had a wonderful view of the harbor and staff were very friendly. Great continental breakfast in the cafe overlooking the pool and harbor. Clean room and bed. Great AC.
Had a lovely stay at the Ocean Inn. Had a beautiful view of Admiral’s Harbour and a cool breeze blowing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great location with a super.view over the harbour. Hotel is rustic, as most are on the island, so don't expect a Radisson. Staff and nice and honesy bar is a nice touch. Good breakfast as well.
My son and I stayed at the Ocean Inn for a week in early July. It was the shoulder season in English Harbor, but it was perfect for us. No crowds! The Inn is conveniently placed within walking distance from everything you need (beach, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants). The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable. Evenings are quiet and peaceful, and the views are beautiful. The owner, Robert, as well as the entire staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. If you are looking for a relaxing, no-fuss place to stay, this is a great spot! The one walkable beach (Pigeon Beach) is a solid 15+ minute walk up and over a fairly steep hill, but is worth it. We really enjoyed the beachside cafe, Bumpkins. The second beach (Galleon Beach) is reachable by land or water taxi and is also very nice, but quite developed. The Loose Cannon offers an upscale waterside cafe and comfortable loungers to rent. If you’re looking for a full service beach experience, this is the place to go. The snorkeling is better at Galleon. Enjoy!

Amazing location - the views are stunning and it is very peaceful. 5 minute walk into town, but if you struggle with walking up hills, this isn't the place for you - but if you can manage it, the reward is the views. The staff are very warm, friendly and welcoming.

Staff was super friendly. Beautiful view, the self-service bar is lovely to grab a beer and sit by the pool overlooking the water. The room was standard but nice, equipped with AC and a mini fridge. Surprisingly good shower.
Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. view of English Harbor was beautiful, breakfast had a nice selection including fresh cut fruit (a must have for me) daily. The owner even gave me a ride down the hill on my departure so I could catch my cab to the airport.
Lovely little hotel right in English Harbour - we spent our first night in Antigua here and loved it. Great location, beautiful views - everyone was very friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend- thank you, great start to an awesome holiday…
Annie was truly the soul of the place. She greeted us cheerfully every time we met and made sure we were well looked after. The view from the main terrace, pool area, and our cottage was spectacular – directly facing the English Harbour.
While the premises could benefit from a little uplift, the rustic style added a cosy and authentic charm.
Good location. A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style home. The vibe is simple, friendly and homely rather than high end polished veneer and we loved it’s slightly quirky rustic charm.
When I arrived at The Ocean Inn in Antigua and Barbuda, I was immediately struck by its spectacular, top-tier location. However, the property itself was in desperate need of a deep, thorough cleaning and major renovation. During my stay, I was deeply uncomfortable because the room was poorly maintained: the bath towels were stained, the kitchen dishes, microwave, and hot water kettle were dirty, and the bedsheets that were supposed to be white were dingy and discolored. To make matters worse, the bathroom sink was severely clogged, causing water to drain incredibly slowly. Although I reported this plumbing issue to the management, it was never resolved. While the host was nice on the rare occasions he was around, he was completely unreachable and out of touch for the vast majority of my stay. Basic physical comfort and cleanliness are of paramount importance to me on my hard earned vacations, these substandard conditions quickly became completely unbearable. Although I originally booked a four night stay from August 13th to August 17th, I made the decision to check out early on August 15th after enduring only two nights. To preserve my comfort and salvage what remained of my vacation, I relocated to an all-inclusive resort for the remaining two nights. While this move successfully restored my peace of mind, it came at a steep, unexpected financial penalty of over $800 in extra expenses, highlighting the severe personal and financial impact of the hotel's operational neglect.
