“This hotel is no where close to a 4 star property! No kettle in the room for tea, when I asked the reception they said I can order tea from room service. Upon check in I asked the receptionist if breakfast was included in our stay and she said yes, during checkout we were told it wasn’t and that we had to pay extra for it. After checking in, we went to our room which was filled with flies, even few dead on the floor. I asked the receptionist if this could be sorted and they sent room cleaning……

“We had an excellent stay here. The family (owners) are both warm and friendly, and the views are amazing. The room and bath are both spacious with a screened window for fresh air. Breakfast was typical Italian sweet breakfast, but they pivoted to accommodate my dairy allergy. Their on site restaurant is open for dinner on the weekends, and the food they served was delicious- my husband especially enjoyed the house made cheese and yogurt. “Where do I begin? Perhaps at the beginning. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon the reception was locked and dark. We wandered around the side of the building to rest and have a snack before trying to figure out what to do next. Quickly someone emerged from the restaurant attempting to chase us away before we could explain that we were hotel guests looking to check in. Once language barriers were crossed we were able to check into our room which was clean appearing but smelled oddly of……
