Excellent location and great amenities

The staff is very helpful. If you need something they are very accommodating. The location is great. It is close to all the shopping. They have a dock right outside the hotel that can bring you by private transfer ($$$). Another option is the "bus taxi" where you bring your luggage on and you get off at San Marco Vallossa. Its a 5 min walk. If I can do it, anyone can! The breakfast is ok. Downside for travellers. The hotel needs to update the rooms and repaint. No elevator. 2nd floor = 4 flights of stairs but they have someone that will bring your luggage up to your room and back down. It is a very busy dock and used for bringing supplies to all the businesses nearby in the morning- very noisy. But All the waterways are noisy, Welcome to Venice!!

It was a very hot day in Venice so the condensation was seeping into the carpet and soaking it. The staff said it happened all the time and they were not concerned. But all I could think of was the mould building up. I had a rough night sleeping in the hot attic space and feel sick the next day. The restaurant that the staff recommended was very good but very expensive. Every spot charges a cover charge to sit and have a drink or to it. 3 dishes and 3 beers a coke and a lemonade was $139 euros. The neighbourhood felt less touristy than the central area and it was quiet. The shower sprayed everywhere so we could only take a bath. Upstairs tv worked but downstairs did not. We took public water bus from airport to the nearby drop off and carried luggage up and down stairs to walk to the hotel in 34 degree temperatures. About 15 minutes of torture. Water taxi for 90 or 100 euros probably would have been worth it.

Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. And the staff took care of all the transfers and the communication with them is prompt and efficient!
