This 2BR/2BA getaway is situated at the gated River Place Condos, located just steps from the Parkway. The recently renovated interior offers new furnishings, a gas fireplace, and three smart TVs.

Start your mornings on the private balcony, which features both mountain and river views. Stroll to dining, entertainment, and Patriot Park, or simply spend sunny days by the outdoor pool.

LIVING AREA

Detailed with new walls, new floors, and a gas fireplace, the welcoming living area also provides a sectional, a coffee bar, and a smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The well-equipped kitchen is appointed with a full suite of appliances, as well as helpful gadgets and cookware to create delectable dishes.

When it’s time to dine, the table accommodates four.

BED & BATH

This condo accommodates six guests in two suites.

Sleep soundly on the queen-size bed in the primary suite, also fitted with a smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The second suite is furnished with a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a twin-over-queen bunk bed, and a Roku TV. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

The balcony offers seating for four and amazing views of the mountains and river.

The seasonal pool (unheated) provides a wonderful spot to lounge on sunny days.

Location was great. Easy drive to good and Dollywood. The listing was deceiving. The mini blinds were all broken, the extra locks on the front door could not be used as the framing was damaged. There was dried food on the living room rug. It has been cleaned but smelled very strong of cleaner upon arrival all 3 days. I did make contact with property renter and they did respond very quickly. It was easy to rent and great communication. Parking was easy. The bunk beds were not well built and that did make me nervous with kids. Wouldn’t be my first choice but I would stay there again. It served all our needs while there.

Not anything spectacular but served it's purpose. Nice sitting on balcony watching ducks. Nice Pool area. Overall clean but floors needed to be mopped otherwise you'll have black feet. Close to strip so can walk if don't want drive.

Review

Upon arrival the shower in the bunkbed room did not drain and almost overflowed the shower. The blind in the bunkbed room were half broken and the sun shined bright in the room at 6:30am. Definitely not a room for a child to sleep in. The safety locks on the front door did not work and the latches were busted through. Did not feel safe. The toilet in the bathroom with the bunkers did not flush the entire time we were there. The chain is broken. We tried to contact someone to help fix it and never heard back our entire stay. Terrible services and a lot of issues need fixing.

Toilet in bunkbed room did not work the entire time we were there. The shower in the bunkbed room did not drain the whole time we were there. The safety locks on the front door did not latch since latch was busted through. Did not feel safe. The condo looks like they slapped a bunch of cheap materials to try and quickly upgrade things. Needs a lot of work. Very disappointed. Customer service was non existent. Contacted them several times without a response. The issues we encountered did not get fixed during our trip. Would not recommend.

Good location, bad interior

This condo is right off of Jake Thomas Blvd. traffic light which is great for accessing the Parkway. The balcony is wonderful, nicely decorated. The interior needs MUCH more lighting. It's like living inside a cave. There's wall switches everywhere, only 4 of which we ever figured out where they went to. Only two lightbulbs worked and I had to put away the leftover cutlery and plates from the dishwasher when I first checked in. Kiddos loved the bunk beds and both bathrooms have a lot of space.

Great value & comfort

The price was good, the location was great (walking distance to a lot), beds were comfortable, pretty spacious for my party of 2 adults, 4 teensish, very relaxing back balcony overlooking nice little river with lots of ducks & others, very nice clean pool. My only criticisms would be though the place was very clean, the floors could have been mopped as they turned your feet black even thought it looked clean & was sticky in places. Also toilet seat was barely holding on & the only thing I needed but didn’t find was a Spatula, otherwise, good dishes & cookware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, washer/dryer, etc. last comment is that the TV was a little tricky if you are not used to that cable/on-line programming. We had a great time, thank you!

Cosmetic problems

Overall we really had a positive stay. I liked the location of being so close to everything (especially with children). The space was very clean and we enjoyed watching the ducks by the creek off the balcony. With that being said, there are a bunch of cosmetic upgrades that were done poorly. I believe that if these things were updated visually and cosmetically, I would give a 5 star review.

Horrible

The renovations are lipstick on a pig. The floor is soft, the ceiling tiles are wallpapered to look nice, the countertops are chipped, the bed is horrible, the stove was dirty, so do not stay here! I cannot begin to list everything that was awful. Luckily, we slept, showered and got out daily, not much time was spent here. I use vrbo frequently, and this was the worst choice I have ever made.
