Pine View Golf Course Tours

It was a gorgeous building and grounds, but sorely understaffed. At check-in, we were given no information about amenities, internet, or any hotel features. I’ve never before been at a hotel at this price point that lacked a concierge, valet, and bellhop/ porter. We got lost looking for our room were offered no help lugging our bags up stairs. We couldn’t find any staff members to help us and, when we reached our room and had questions (we had been given the wrong room), our calls to the front desk went unanswered. The indoor and outdoor spaces were both stunning. Our apartment had many thoughtful, high-end touches, from a Dyson hairdryer to a mixology kit, to an umbrella. While we were there, it was beautifully decorated for fall and offered complimentary cider and donuts. It’s an amazing historical building that looks like it would be an unforgettable wedding venue, but it could use a lot more signage and staff to orient guests. A spa or salon on site would be nice, as well.

The pancake machine was not working with no sign on it stating same. Turned it on and was waiting until a staff member reprimanded us in turning it on. How were we to know without a sign? Thus the 4 star rating.
