Housekeeping was a problem. Original room we checked into looked like the maid had laid on the bed and never straightened it afterward. Second room they put us in had a used washcloth in the shower. Otherwise it is a very nice hotel. They just need to fix their housekeeping staff/process.

Everything was clean, but it didn't always look it because there were drops or chips of paint from the recent renovating, which maybe wasn't fully professionally done. The hatred parking was nice, as was the courtyard. The location was convenient, walking distance to a few shops/ restaurants and a quick bike to downtown or Mexicantown. It was a disappointment that there wasn't any way to heat up water for tea (no microwave, etc.) I could request hot water in my travel mug from the staff downstairs, but at some point in the evening the hot water dispenser/ coffee maker would get shut off and they would pour me tepid water.

There were six of use staying in two were. Apartment type room with sofa sleeper. The rooms could use some care. There were only two bath towels and when I asked for more, attendant gave me two from an other room but said all the rest were dirty. After a hot day at baseball game, we had to share towels and shampoo and conditioner was empty in shower and hand soap was in shower for body soap. Thankfully I travel with a small amount and we made it work. The beds are listed as queens but are full size at best. There is no on site parking so plan on parking across the street for 30 bucks a day. Good location.
