The first villa that we were put in was very dirty and smelled very musty. We immediately called the staff, and they worked to move us to a new villa. She was super helpful and gave us multiple listings to choose from. Since the villas are privately owned, it is really a maintenance company that you are dealing with. The villa we ended up in was very nice and bright. It was more updated and clean. Kiawah is absolutely beautiful!

What I didn’t like was our room was next to the street. The buildings were so close to each other that the noise amplified whenever the motorcyclists and cars were showing off and speeding and making loud noises throughout the night. Being close to the college made it worse. On the other hand The Pinch was an outstanding small boutique hotel. It’s clean. The decor is simple and beautiful. It has kitchen, and a washer and dryer in one which came in handy. The employees up front were very welcoming and very nice. The restaurant Lowland next to the hotel has great food. It is centrally located. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I do come back.
