"We had the best stay at the Courtyard Inn! When I booked I didn’t realize it was a bed and breakfast and only had 5 rooms. It was amazingly quiet inside and out. We sat on the balcony at night and just relaxed in the peace and quiet of nature. A homemade breakfast was served each morning, and the host also made a homemade cake and brownies while we were there. "

"This was the first stop for us on a 3 week California road trip and from previous reviews we were anticipating a warm welcome with a wine and snacks reception then a hearty breakfast next morning. Sadly we were a bit disappointed. We were welcomed by the owner and had a glass of wine but then never saw her again. "This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place.
