"We rented this wonderful home to enjoy time at Lake Nimrod without have to tent camp or camper camp. Just minutes from the lake we enjoyed the convenience and comforts of home without missing out on the family fun camping. I traveled with my 17yr old daughter and 90 year old mother it was perfect with internet and tv for winding down in evenings. The host was so great and communicated so quickly and easily that I had no worries my entire stay. "

"My wife and I and our best friends and fellow couple were looking for a centrally located home to stage State Park adventures and area lake fishing trips in a country setting. I must say this place did not disappoint. We visited four State parks and obtain all four stamps in our Arkansas State Parks passport booklets. The parks we visited were Petit Jean State Park, Mount Nebo State Park, Mount Magazine State Park and Lake Dardanelle State. All are must sees. We fished both Lake Atkins and Lake Brewer near Morrilton. This cottage is located on a working cattle farm and was decorated so cute with a farmhouse theme. It was the perfect size to accommodate two couples. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to any questions or needs we had. We truly loved our stay at the farm cottage and are already planning a return trip in the fall.Highly recommended."

"We booked this property for a graduation trip. Our oldest daughter was graduating and we had family coming in from a few different states. We wanted a place to stay where we could throw a graduation party/dinner. This property allowed small parties (up to 25 people) and that was perfect for us. The house is lovely. It was extremely clean and very large. It is an older house, but nicely updated. It was well supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, laundry detergent, and dishwasher tablets. There was a pantry with left overs from previous guests, like aluminum foil, paper plates, and spices. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking/baking dishes. The backyard was amazing. I spent many hours of our short trip on the back deck. The backyard has giant trees and we spotted several really neat birds. We also saw foxes and deer. There is a tenant who lives in a separate property out back, but he was friendly, and kept his dog on a leash. The host was easy to work with. We had no problems getting in and checkout was easy. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Everything about this site is beautiful. The home is wonderful, and is situated to have an amazing porch with just a fantastic and serene view.As a generational cattle family ourselves, we appreciated the rustic and western decor and feel.The hosts have taken great care to offer plenty of extras and amenities. The site is off the beaten path, but the path its on is one well worth the trip."
