    A Private Home furnished by a local interior designer in a sophisticated country style awaits you! Conveniently located one block from Main Street, walk to dining, shops and art galleries. The Point Reyes National Seashore, beaches and Point Reyes Lighthouse are only a short drive away.

    Relax at Lavender House for a week and experience all the unique local specialties Point Reyes has to offer; Brickmaiden Breads, Bovine Bakery, Point Reyes Books, Cabaline General Store, Leona's, Vita, Culture Shop and of course Toby’s Feed Barn, host of the Saturday Farmer’s Market (seasonal).

The Lavender House was such a beautiful property and easy place to stay in Point Reyes station. Everything in town was within walking distance. The property was clean and immaculate, we really enjoyed eating together in the dining room and lounging in the backyard. We’d love to stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Wonderful location

So enjoyable, great location and sparkling clean. We loved hiking in the area, returning to your hot tub in the evening and being able to walk into town for a coffee or dinner.

Eileen and Martin’s cottage is absolutely beautiful with artistic touches everywhere. Completely clean and perfectly comfortable in every way. The VRBO photos are accurate, but in person, the cottage is even nicer. We are so lucky to have been able to rent this lovely home. Many thanks!

Wonderful stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage. We have stayed there several times before and were so happy to be back. The location is great (easy walking distance to town and quick drive to hiking trails). And the cottage itself was very comfortable and offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you for a lovely welcome cheese, the cleanest home and the best stocked kitchen w toolls, spices, cookware and coffee. The hot tub was amazing for post hikes! Hope to return sooner rather than later!
